Blarney Castle’s original structure was built in 1210 with the current structure being built in 1446. The most famous feature of the Castle is the Blarney stone – Kissing the Blarney stone is on many bucket lists and this is definitely included on your itinerary. The climb to the stone is quite a long climb at the top of a narrow staircase but it is well worth it.
